Britni Irons grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania and moved to Norwich NY in 2009. Britni was born with a speech disorder called Apraxia. She didn’t speak until she was 5 years old. She learned signed language at an early age in order to communicate. After graduating with a Regents Diploma, Britni went to BOCES for Graphic Design and Photography. She currently takes photos for websites for local business’s such as the Artist Palette, Chenango SPCA, and the Rogers Center. She finds taking pictures as a way to express herself and her love for nature.
My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places. I am enamored by all things, as they are beautiful in their element, but are often overlooked. Photography is a journey for me, a quest to capture elements of nature and the beauty around me. I have loved Art since the first grade. I enjoy taking pictures and seeing peoples reactions to these pictures. Every time I take a picture, it makes a smile come on my face. Every time I think I want to do something different, I always come back to art. Art has became a part of me; running through my body, oxygenating my blood, with new ideas, with each heartbeat. Please enjoy the Beauty around us, in NATURE.
