Joyful Christmas
Fri. December 13th at 7pm
Grammy®-Awarded and Emmy-nominated, Eileen Ivers, continues to push the fiddling tradition boundaries from a folk music staple to a fiercely fresh, powerfully beautiful, intensely driving world stage experience.
It's the most wonderful time of the year …and for years Eileen and the band have been celebrating the glorious story of Christmas, thoughtfully, uniquely and with pure unbridled joy!!
Eileen’s Irish and American roots shine throughout the evening’s beautiful mix of traditional, story-filled, age-old Wren Day songs, poems, and of course, foot stomping and hollerin’ roots music. Eileen and the ensemble’s plethora of instruments and voices weave throughout the evening, coupled with Ivers’ signature warmth, inviting listeners in for a tuneful, soulful celebration capturing the true spirit and joy of the season.

Fiddle-Sax Fusion
Holiday Show
Fri. December 20th at 7pm
The Fiddle-Sax Fusion Band's Holiday Series came about through a series of videos Brian (saxophone) and Jessie (violin) Stark created as offertory music for their church during remote activities in December 2020. Released weekly, the song selections reflect the meditative anticipation of Advent leading into full-fledged Christmas celebration, with creative interpretations that feature the two lead instruments in inspired dialogue. They performed the pieces in their originally intended liturgical setting live for the first time in December 2023 as part of St. Thomas' seasonal services. In summer 2024, they are recording these arrangements in collaboration with percussionist Mark Shiner for release in December 2024. They are excited to perform this series in its entirety alongside other festive repertoire at the Earlville Opera House!
Join us for a special evening of original songs and the stories behind them
with eight talented songwriters who participated in our Songwriting Workshop Series this fall facilitated by Reyna Stagnaro.
The showcase reflects the artistic growth inspired and achieved in the workshops, diverse musical styles, and group collaboration. Enjoy an outstanding show on the historic main stage of the Earlville Opera House and experience the magic of the songwriter/listener connection.
