Join us for a special evening of original songs and the stories behind them from the talented songwriters who participated in our Songwriting Workshop Series facilitated by Reyna Stagnaro. The showcase reflects the artistic growth inspired and achieved in the workshops, group collaboration, and diverse musical styles. Enjoy an outstanding show on the main stage of our historic theater and experience the magic of the songwriter/listener connection.

The Gibson Brothers need no introduction in the bluegrass world – the accolades of these “bluegrass superstars” as stated by the New York Times include the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year; Song of the Year; Songwriter of the Year and Album of the Year. Born on a northern New York dairy farm, Eric and Leigh Gibson started playing banjo and guitar in middle school. From those beginnings, the brothers have joined forces with a loyal and virtuosic team of musicians to create their own distinctive mix of heritage and soaring harmony, making them the premiere brother duet of the bluegrass genre, following in the footsteps of legendary brother acts such as the Stanley Brothers and the Osborne Brothers.

EARLVILLE OPERA HOUSE AND THE NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS AWARD $124,500 THROUGH STATEWIDE COMMUNITY REGRANTS!
The Earlville Opera House (EOH) and the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) announce $124,500 in cultural funding to 52 not-for-profit organizations and artists through the 2026 Statewide Community Regrants Program (SCR) for Broome, Chenango & Otsego Counties. $16,500 of this funding has been provided for Broome County by the Stewart W. & Willma C. Hoyt Foundation.
