EOH Mission:

The Earlville Opera House Arts Center:  enriching the Central New York community through the visual and performing arts while preserving its historic building.

The Earlville Opera House was founded in 1970 as a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, community service organization promoting the arts in a rural region of central New York by offering programs of cultural, educational, and historical significance; and preserving and restoring the architectural and historic integrity of the Earlville Opera House, an unique second-story theater constructed in 1892.

EOH VISION STATEMENT:

Create a vibrant, premier destination for the arts that will:

  • Serve all of the residents of the surrounding communities by increasing the diversity of programming and audiences;
  • Improve Central New York through the arts;
  • Provide outreach to schools and communities;
  • Foster communication and collaboration among arts groups and institutions; and
  • Serve as an example of historic preservation efforts.
ACCESSIBILITY:
EOH renovations completed in 2005 added universal accessibility to the 1892 theater, Box office, Artisan Gift Shop, Arts Cafe and the East and West Art Galleries with a ramp, elevator, and accessible restroom facilities.
