Saturday July 17th, 10am - 3pm
The beautiful sample shows some of the fabrics that are possible with these techniques! The process of hand marbling paper was a closely guarded secret, and even today, marbling can be frustrating to learn. Learn how to prepare your materials, balance colors, and create intricate patterns with these water based techniques using Golden Artist Colors materials (that avoid the use of dangerous solvents of old).

What kid can resist the call of the greatest show on earth? Join us for two weeks of fun and merriment, as Circus Theatrix teaches the fundamentals of putting on a circus. Every kid who dreams of being a star has a chance to shine in this wonderful workshop.

The Young Writers' Workshop is back this summer with a fabulous writing opportunity for teens! The program that is co-sponsored by the Earlville Opera House will be held Aug 9-13, 2010, as a daycamp.Open to teens (entering grades 6-10 in the fall) from any school district. Modelled on similar camps at Breadloaf (Middlebury) and Kenyon, Young Writers' Workshop combines recreation and creative writing in a relaxed setting. Young writers will work closely with visiting writers and poets as well as certified teachers.

Don’t confine printing your artwork or photographic images onto just commercially available papers and canvases! Learn how to print on everything from acrylic paint skins to aluminum foil, and then how to adhere them to paintings or objects using acrylic mediums. Embellishing with paint and texture over images will also be shown.
