OPEN MIC SERIES:
Third Sundays: Jan. 17, Feb. 21 & Mar. 21 from 2:30PM until 5PM.

Open Mic Series at the Earlville Opera House Arts Café

The Earlville Opera House Arts Café has showcased renowned songwriters like David Francey and Garnet Rogers, Celtic luminaries like Emily Smith and Grada, and various other emerging and established talents have taken the stage to perk ears and melt hearts.  Now it’s your turn!

Whether you need to blow the dust off the fiddle in your closet, or you just finished your digital recording for your You Tube sampler, come on down and share a song, poem, or blistering guitar lick with us in the Arts Café at the Earlville Opera House.

Third Sundays: Jan. 17, Feb. 21 & Mar. 21 from 2:30PM until 5PM.  All styles welcome. Doors open and sign-ups start at 2 PM.   FREE

Host musician and erstwhile audio technician Steve Blais will set you up with a mic or two (or a D.I. box) and you can break through those stage jitters, flash back to the glory days, or just porch pick for your fellow performers and a few civilians who might wander in off the street.  So don’t be shy: just show up!

All styles welcome – just nothing too loud (it’s a small room).  The 15 minutes includes the changeover between acts, so you can do about 3 songs or the spoken word equivalent.

For more information, call the Earlville Opera House at 315-691-3550.  The Earlville Opera House is located at 18 East Main Street, just off Route 12 B.

Earlville Opera House events are made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts and the generosity of EOH members.
