Barefoot Truth
No date is set for this concert...future date to be determined 2009?

Roots Rock

"Barefoot Truth is one of the more promising young roots rock bands on the indie circuit these days" - ThisIsModern.net

Barefoot Truth is a New England acoustic/folk rock band that formed in 2003 when members Jay Driscoll and Will Benoit met in Groton Long Point, Connecticut. Immediately, the two realized they had the same musical tastes and influences. They decided to couple their talents and began writing original songs and playing shows in New England.

Their heartfelt, melodic songs are performed with a wide array of instruments including upright bass, lap steel guitar, congas, didgeridoo and lead harmonica.  Despite using classic folk instruments, Barefoot Truth is clearly a band of the 21st century.  Their music is influenced by such bands as Dispatch, Guster, John Butler Trio, Dave Matthews Band, Xavier Rudd, Rage Against the Machine, and Simon and Garfunkel.  Capturing the true essence of 'Organic Rock', Barefoot Truth puts on an energetic show, full of good vibes. Mixing rootsy acoustic sounds, with meaningful storytelling lyrics, the band pulls their audience closer, only to want more.

The Band:

Will Benoit: Lead vocals, guitar, drums & percussion

Jay Driscoll: vocals, guitar, percussion

Andy Wrba: upright/electric bass

Garrett Duffy: Harmonica

Date to be confirmed.
