Teaching at the Earlville Opera House
"We need to give the students the tools necessary to help them think like artists—with grit, creativity, resilience, and imagination."
Suggestions for classes/workshops, as well as instructors, are always welcome! All submissions will be considered for inclusion within our current programs.
Because our Arts Education Program is funded by multiple agencies, all proposals for classes/workshops will be evaluated according to the following guidelines.
· Relevance to our community audience, as well as broadening/diversifying that audience
· Availability of similar programming within the community
· Artistic/programmatic quality
· Relationship to the EOH’s mission
To make a submission, include:
the name of the class/workshop,
with a brief description of the process and the outcomes.
Include the instructor’s complete name, address, phone number, e-mail address (if possible) and a brief instructor bio.
What are desired instruction fees for the class/workshop;
materials fees for the class/workshop (if any);
space and equipment needs that may be needed (do you supply equipment)?
Please include photos that would be useful in explaining the idea to the committee and that would help with outreach in the community for the class/workshop.
Thank you for supporting the arts in our community!
