I’m Dreaming of a…“Chris Whitemas” at the EOH Arts Café

The Arts Café at the Earlville Opera House will welcome singer-songwriter, Chris White on Saturday, December 22, at 7 pm.  Chris White is one of the funniest emerging folk artists of our time.  His highly original songs mine politics and other topical events for their light-hearted humor.  He will present a seasonal special, “Chris Whitemas,” that mixes his originals with his interpretations of traditional Christmas songs including a version of “White Christmas” with the words reversed.

Chris White is a native of Hamilton, NY, now living in Brooklyn. He studied music at Wesleyan University and made a name for himself singing humorous songs on the college campus circuit.  He has written over two hundred songs, and is both an accomplished singer and guitarist, capable of playing in a variety of different styles.

Join us for an evening packed with humor, insight, and melody! $10 for the general public; $8 for EOH members, and $5 for students!  During the intermission, patrons will be able to shop at the fabulous EOH Holiday Show and Sale with over 65 regional artists’ work!  The Café will have reserved seating for this performance, and seating is limited to 50, so call early to reserve a seat!  Delicious refreshments like chocolate chip cookies and pecan pie will be available in the Kitchen, including hot and cold drinks and desserts. Ongoing…the Beautiful Earlville Opera House 10^th Holiday Show & Sale…Over 65 Regional Artists

WEATHER ALERT: We wanted to let everyone know that because of the storm, we will be closing on Sunday December 16^th, but will be adding an extra day to the sale.  Please come and shop the final two days: Friday, December 21^st (new date) and Saturday, December 22^nd. 

Our artists have brought in new work so there is still much beauty to be had in Earlville at our HOLIDAY SHOW AND SALE!  With so many local artists and artisans, gathered in one location to present their work for sale, it’s a show not to be missed! Come pick out artistic, one-of-a-kind gifts for your friends and loved ones.

The Holiday Sale is sponsored by the Earlville Opera House. A portion of each sale will benefit the Opera House’s Art Gallery, but even more importantly will support our local artists!

   Isabelle Garbani is showcasing pieces from her Abstractions series and her New York series in her exhibit titled Artist in Transition.  Gallery Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm and Saturday, 12-3pm and for all EOH onsite performances.
