Welcome to the EOH! The Earlville Opera House Arts Center enriches the Central New York community through the visual and performing arts while preserving our beautiful historic theater. Founded in 1970 as a not-for-profit, volunteer-based, community service organization, we promote the arts in a rural region of central New York by offering programs of cultural, educational, and historical significance; and preserving and restoring the architectural and historic integrity of the Earlville Opera House, a unique second-story theater constructed in 1892.
The Earlville Opera House is a superb concert venue that presents a diverse series of performances in its beautiful historic theater from May through October. The entertainment includes folk, blues, world music, musical theater, drama, Zydeco music, bluegrass, rock and roll, and country music, and have included shows by nationally known performers and up-and-coming artists alike! Musicians and audiences alike enjoy the perfect acoustics of the Historic Landmark theater. A marvelous example of turn-of-the-century architecture, the charming stenciling, ornate pressed tin ceiling, and beautiful proscenium stage make the 1892 theater a living testament to the history of this area of New York State.
