Welcome to The EOH website!  The Earlville Opera House Arts Center houses a beautiful historic theater, two art galleries, an arts cafe, and an artisan gift shop.  Musicians and audiences alike enjoy the perfect acoustics of the Historic Landmark theater. A marvelous example of turn-of-the-century architecture, the charming stenciling, ornate pressed tin ceiling, and beautiful proscenium stage make the 1892 theater a living testament to the history of this area of New York State.  For other Local Attractions click here.

MORE ABOUT THE EOH ARTS CENTER: The Earlville Opera House presents a diverse series of performances in the theater from May through October. The series includes folk, blues, classical, world music, musical theater, drama, jazz, Zydeco and Cajun music, bluegrass, rock and roll, and country music, and have included shows by nationally known performers like Richie Havens, Odetta, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, and Roger McGuinn. The Children's Series of matinees offers children and their families an opportunity to engage in the arts by both watching and participating.  Family events include magic shows, puppet shows, children's singer/songwriters, dance, storytelling, and children's theater.  Come early and visit the Arts Cafe or the Artisan Gift Shop - both are open one hour before performances and during intermissions.

The Earlville Opera House also features two Art Galleries that present 10 to 15 exhibitions annually. We recently participated in a summit of Capital District Visual Arts Organizations to talk about Innovation in the field of Visual Arts.  See a summary of our findings.

Our Arts Education Workshops are growing!  From Circus Camp to the children’s theater workshop, from volunteer opportunities to master classes, the Opera House offers something for everyone!  The Earlville Opera House is located on Route 12B just 5 miles south of Hamilton, NY – home of Colgate University or about 15 miles north of Norwich, NY.  If you need more information or want to be on our mailing list, Contact Us Online, call (315) 691-3550 or write to us at PO Box 111, Earlville, NY 13332.
