Event Description: Tuesdays, March 6 and 13, 6 – 9 p.m. Discover this magical material and turn “clay” into silver! PMC is not really clay, but .999 Fine Silver particles suspended in water and cellulose binder. It looks and feels like clay, and can be textured, filed, carved, sanded, and molded. When fired, the water and binder burn out, leaving a piece of pure silver jewelry! Students will go home with a pair of bell earrings. These delicate metal clay bells make a tiny jingle. Students may choose to use copper or silver clay. Supply fee for copper is $35 and for silver is $75. This includes clay and materialsto assemble earrings. Taught by E. Meharg. (1 class)
